Got questions? The Doctor is in.
Everything you need to know about LinkMedic and keeping your website healthy.
LinkMedic acts as a digital clinic for your website. We automatically crawl your site to find broken links, missing pages (404 errors), and server issues before your customers or search engines discover them.
Dead links ruin the user experience, leading to frustration and lost conversions. Furthermore, search engines like Google penalize websites with many broken links by lowering their search rankings, as it signals poor website maintenance.
Yes! Even new websites frequently contain navigation errors, typos in social media links, or links pointing to temporary staging pages that no longer exist. Making a flawless first impression is critical.
No, there's absolutely nothing to install. No WordPress plugins, no scripts. LinkMedic is 100% cloud-based. You just enter your URL, and our servers do all the heavy lifting.
Our crawler examines exactly what your server returns in the HTML code. If your internal links point to mobile-specific URLs that fail, or if responsive design links are broken, we will catch those errors.
It's built for e-commerce owners, bloggers, marketing agencies, and developers, anyone who cares about maintaining a 100% healthy, professional, and SEO-friendly online presence.
No. Our crawler is designed to be highly polite and lightweight. It makes requests asynchronously and mimics the behavior of a standard, respectful visitor to ensure your server is never overloaded.
It depends on the size of your site and your subscription plan's priority queue. A small business site is typically diagnosed within a few minutes, while expansive e-commerce platforms may take slightly longer.
The Free plan limits the number of URLs scanned per project. Paid plans unlock deeper scans, full history retention, priority server queues, and professional PDF reports.
Each plan allows a specific number of Active Projects (e.g., up to 5 on the Basic Clinic plan), meaning you can monitor that many websites concurrently. In addition to this, a Fair Use Monthly Capacity applies to the number of new projects you can diagnose within a 30-day window. This capacity is equal to your active limit. So for the Basic plan, you can run up to 5 new comprehensive scans every 30 days. Unused capacity does not roll over.
The limit applies to the total number of unique links (URLs) discovered and verified on your domain during a scan, not the number of individual web pages. Both internal and external links are counted towards this total.
The system will thoroughly check links up to your plan's limit. Any remaining links discovered beyond that point will be marked as "Pending". To scan these remaining links and view the complete results, you can easily upgrade to a higher plan.
Absolutely. All plans are obligation-free. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription with a single click in your account settings.
Payments are securely processed via our partner Freemius. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and mobile options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Extremely secure. LinkMedic does not store or process any of your credit card data. All transactions are handled by PCI-compliant, certified payment gateways at the highest level of security.
Yes. After every successful payment, you will automatically receive a detailed tax receipt and invoice via email. We fully support VAT processing for businesses.
Our "Ambulance" Free plan acts as our trial. It allows you to test the core scanning engine and view the dashboard without any time limit. We encourage you to explore the value there before upgrading to a Premium plan.
For premium users, our system uses scheduled background cron jobs to periodically rescan your registered projects. If we detect new dead links or significant changes since the last scan, we immediately send an alert to your email.
We detect all standard HTTP anomalies. Obviously 404s (Not Found), but also 500s (Internal Server Error), 403s (Forbidden), timeouts, invalid SSL certificates, and even excessive redirect chains (multiple 301/302s).
It might. To ensure uninterrupted service, we highly recommend adding our specific User-Agent
LinkMedicBot to your firewall's whitelist or allowed bots configuration.
Currently, our engine analyzes standard HTML structure and Server-Side Rendered (SSR) content very effectively. Links generated purely via Client-Side Rendering (CSR) after the page loads might not be fully discoverable by our current architecture.
Yes. We don't just check internal routing; we make sure that external resources you link out to are still alive, ensuring you aren't sending your users to parked domains or broken pages.
Currently, LinkMedic analyzes all links it discovers on your domain. Support for custom rules (e.g., ignoring specific paths, directories, or respecting rules established in a
robots.txt file) is among our highest priorities for future updates.
It measures the Time to First Byte (TTFB). Think of it as your website's "blood pressure"—it's the time in milliseconds it takes for the destination server to acknowledge our request. Consistently high times indicate a slow server.
Absolutely. Your scan history, results, and project configurations are completely private, tied securely to your account, and are never exposed publicly or indexed by search engines.
